Regional Underwriting Manager - CasualtyOur client, a leading and established carrier in the industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager for their Environmental Casualty Underwriting team in Los Angeles.Role & Responsibilities

• Develop underwriting strategies based on underwriting guidelines and risk appetite
• Analyze and evaluate package casualty/environmental accounts (GL, WC, Auto, Excess/Umbrella, CPL, Site Pollution Liability)
• Manage a group of three underwriting associates, and one underwriter; provide guidance on complex cases, market with broker partners, and participate in production.Key Skills
  • 6-10 years experience in underwriting, with a strong background in casualty.
  • Exposure to Environmental Liability and the strategies involved in mitigating such risks.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop talent.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for high-level negotiations and presentations.
