We possess deep awareness and intuition of global marketplace dynamics and regional guest needs and use this knowledge to identify opportunities to maximize guest demand.A day in the life:The Manager, Regional & Digital Merchandising is accountable for the creation and execution of the regional merchandising strategies and omni channel approach for the season as well as overseeing the Digital Merchandising strategies for their class. This individual drives the delivery of region-specific insights to the Global Merchandising team to inform product strategies, inclusive of financial goals, metrics, local product, cultural and guest insights. The Manager is responsible for driving the build out and management of their class strategies and assortment plans collaborating with Planning to execute seasonal regional buys against global product and financial goals.The Manager is responsible for the development of their team members to deliver product needs that reflect brand consistency and regional relevance to maximize profitability and sales across product classes, key items and channels. The Manager continuously develops team members to be analytical thinkers to draw critical business conclusions and champions collaboration with cross-functional partners throughout the product lifecycle for in-season execution and management of their product category through weekly business analysis.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of Regional and Digital Merchants, inspiring and guiding team members to develop their skills and deliver on business priorities.
  • Create regional merchandising strategies and omni channel approach for the season, gathering regional cross-functional input to inform strategies.
  • Guide the Regional team in creating a product assortment that reflects brand consistency and regional relevance.
  • Integrate regional merchandising strategies into the enterprise digital workstreams.
  • Lead the team in collating and presenting Regional insights to Global Merchant counterparts.
  • Collaborate with Planning to execute seasonal regional buys against global product and financial goals.
  • Update and refine visual flow for the region based on assortment updates.
  • Prepare and present for all GTM meetings including strategies, investments, and flow.
  • Approve adopt/drop decisions based on assortment updates and business needs.
  • Validate buy accuracy and resolve MOQ issues.
  • Partner with Brand, VM, Digital and Store Planning to execute initiatives and regional strategies throughout each Buy Cycle.
  • Support in OTB conversations and align with Planning on Class targets.
  • Review business each week/month/season, delivering recaps and actions based on insights and inventory composition.Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
    • BA, BSc, BBA, BComm (or equivalent) specialized in Retail Management.
    • Minimum eight years of experience in people management and industry experience in vertical retail and omni channel.
    • Proven ability in coaching, mentoring, and leading a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and merchandising software.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret multiple data points.
    • Mastery of retail mathematics, including markup, margin, planning, and inventory productivity.
    • Ability to balance analytical and creative tasks.
    • Strong understanding of season-to-season business performance.
    • Acute eye for product and color trends.
    • Aware of macro lifestyle and fashion trends related to the active and wellness industry.
    • Strong knowledge of regional guest base to curate assortment.
    • Ability to lead and influence key cross-functional partners.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to present to Senior leadership.
    • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to travel and work on the retail floor.Must haves:

      • Integrates fun and joy into work.Additional Notes: Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role.Compensation and Benefits Package:Typical hiring range for this position is from $118,400 - $152,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.At lululemon, investing in our people is a top priority.
