Title: Material Handler - Warehouse

Adecco is assisting a local client in their search to fill multiple Shipping & Receiving - Warehouse jobs in Whittier. These are long-term temp to hire opportunities. As a Warehouse Material Handler you will be required to receive incoming material and place them in the appropriate area; as well as email clients, vendors and customers. Responsibilities for this Shipping & Receiving - Warehouse job include:

; Count items received and shipped and check against packing lists while recording any discrepancies

; Operate RF scanners to verify materials

; Confirm and records the receipt of shipments

; Move materials throughout Warehouse facility to get them to the correct floor, cart, or bin locations

; Prepare shipping - receiving reports and notes any shortages or damages for accounting, reimbursement and record keeping purposes.

; Perform activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or materials

Qualifications:

; 6 months previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience required.

; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

; Detail oriented

; Proficient with computers

; Ability to enter data of delivery information

We have openings on both the first and second shift (Monday - Friday, times vary)

Pay for 1st shift is $10.00/hr plus overtime as needed.
