Job Description:
A company is looking for a Registration Specialist for Patient
Access.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain and enter patient demographic, billing, and insurance
information into the system
Collect patient payments and document transactions in the
registration/billing systems
Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments according to
hospital workflows
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
State criminal background check as required for the location
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Understanding of medical insurance requirements for payment
Ability to operate applicable computer software and equipment
