Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sign Language Interpreter to work
remotely in Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) during
live virtual classes and events
Facilitate communication between educators and Deaf or hard of
hearing students
Collaborate with teachers to understand lesson plans and student
needs
Required Qualifications
Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
Proven experience interpreting in educational settings, preferably
K-12
Strong understanding of Deaf culture and communication access
needs
Proficiency in technology used for virtual learning
EIPA score of 3.5 or greater
